Our founder, Capt. Craig Rogers, is a native of Kentucky Lake and moved to Ft. Lauderdale in 2002 to pursue his passion for boats. His early years were spent working with a local yacht management company, maintaining dealership fleet vessels and multiples of privately owned boats around South Florida. He developed relationships with figure heads at local shipyards and trade contractors all across Florida, before eventually opening a franchise for that company in Stuart, Fl in 2007.
Following this venture, Craig decided to further pursue his passion for boats and took a crew position on a Key West based yacht; this would be where Craig learned the fundamentals of navigation and seamanship and would ultimately leave this post with a Captain's License.
Once licensed, Craig spent much of the next decade running boats from 35' to 92' and doing long distance deliveries and charters with yachts as large as 200'.
Today, Craig remains a relief Captain for a 92' Nordhavn and does several deliveries each year, while ultimately is focused on continuing to develop relationships with boat owners and continue growing the contribution and NauticPro has in the South Florida marine industry.
